Discover the many Islands of Seychelles

The Seychelles Archipelago is home to 115 islands scattered across 1.3 million square kilometres of the western Indian Ocean. The islands are categorised into two main groups – The Granitic Inner Islands, and the Coralline Outer Islands. The inner islands are mostly granitic islands and are closely grouped around Mahé, the main island of Seychelles. Other islands include Praslin, La Digue, Silhouette, St. Anne and Fregate (to name a few). The outer islands are all corraline, and they are scatter outwards from Mahé in all different directions. The Aldabra Atoll is the furthest away from Mahé at 1,150km. Other islands include Desroches, D’Arros, St. Joseph and Alphonse (to name a few).
